The only analytics here areself-hostedand self-hosted, used to see which content gets read. No profiles are built, and nothing that identifies you is collected.

What is recorded

Analytics run on self-hosted Umami, which sets no cookies and leaves no identifier in your browser. What is recorded:

• the page address you visited
• the referring page
• device type, browser, operating system, screen size
• a rough region inferred from IP (the IP itself is not stored)
• visit time and time spent on the page

What is not done

• no third-party ads, analytics or tracking scripts
• no accounts, no login, no email or phone number collected
• no cross-site tracking
• statistics are never sold or shared

Where the data lives

The analytics database sits on this site’s own server, and is used to tell which content people read. Raw access logs stay on the server, for debugging and for blocking abusive requests.

Fonts, styles, scripts and images are all served from this site, with no third-party CDN. Requests only reach whimread.com and umami.whimread.com (the latter is the self-hosted analytics service).
